Keen for my Keens

I've been breaking in my new summer, everyday shoes and they are just so comfy and practical. They are a hybrid style from Keen, a cross between a MaryJane and a clog. I can just slip them on and just go in the morning. They are suitable for my work too because since I work in a research lab I want to be comfortable as I'm walking around all over the place throughout the day. Plus they are "lab safe" because often in the summer I want to wear open-toed shoes or my flip-flops, but they are a biosafety no-no. They are made of soft leather so my feet can still breathe and they have a thick rubber sole for lots of support. Sometimes I wish I could wear cuter shoes to my work, but it just does not mesh with a laboratory environment. In this case, I've settled for comfort...they are cute in their own outdoorsy/active kinda way ;)
